    About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager – Network Infrastructure to lead the delivery of network infrastructure initiatives across the US.

Despite the title, this is not a traditional people-management role. It is a hands-on technical leadership position suited to a Staff, Principal or Lead Engineer with a strong background in software, infrastructure, SRE or network engineering.

You will drive technical initiatives, establish engineering standards and bring existing European practices into the growing US organisation. The role combines architecture, automation, technical project delivery and hands-on engineering.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects across the US.
    • Drive technical initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.
    • Review architecture, identify risks and establish engineering standards.
    • Contribute hands-on to code, automation and incident resolution.
    • Improve network reliability, observability and operational processes.
    • Collaborate with network, software, SRE, security and platform teams.
    • Coordinate with international engineering teams.

    Requirements

    • 7+ years of experience in software, infrastructure, SRE or network engineering.
    • Strong understanding of Linux, networking, automation and CI/CD.
    • Programming experience in Go (Golang) or Python.
    • Experience building and operating production systems at scale.
    • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
    • Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with hyperscale or large-scale network infrastructure.
    • Network automation and device lifecycle management.
    • Knowledge of IPv6, DNS and network boot processes.
    • Experience with SLOs/SLIs, observability and incident management.
    • CI/CD for network devices and infrastructure automation.
    • Knowledge of US network infrastructure and connectivity.
