Data Center Supply Chain Manager – Server & GPU Infrastructure | Amsterdam [Up to €180K OTE]

GPUs are the scarcest hardware in tech right now. This role is about getting them, and the servers, optics and memory around them, into live data centers before the capacity is needed.

My client is an AI infrastructure company running high-performance compute at scale for customers who train and serve AI models. They operate their own data centers across several regions and keep adding capacity. Behind every new cluster sits a long hardware list: GPU servers, racks, switches, optical transceivers, DRAM and storage, sourced in a market where lead times and allocation can change overnight. The supply chain team sits at the centre of that, working daily with infrastructure engineering, logistics, finance and operations.

What you'll do

Your focus is compute. You run procurement for server and GPU infrastructure from first requirement to deployment, and you keep supply flowing once a site is live. You sit across the table from leading OEM and ODM vendors, negotiating allocation, pricing and delivery commitments. You spot constraints early, find alternatives when a component runs short and escalate with vendors when timelines are at risk. After go-live you own maintenance procurement, keeping spares on hand through stock planning and handling urgent orders fast. You work closely with engineers to understand what the hardware has to do, so you can challenge specs, suggest alternatives and cut cost without slowing deployment down.

Your Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in server or data center IT hardware procurement (construction procurement only is not a fit)
• Hands-on experience procuring GPUs or high-performance compute
• Direct experience working with OEM and ODM manufacturers
• A track record of negotiating supply allocation and commercial terms in constrained markets
• Experience at a hyperscaler, cloud provider, AI company or hardware manufacturer
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems is a plus
• Fluent English
