Delivery Manager

    Delivery Manager

Complex software and platform programs succeed when someone owns the path from commitment to outcome. You will lead multi-disciplinary delivery so clients see predictable releases, transparent risk, and engineering that actually ships. This role sits where business goals, technical reality, and the people who build the product meet. You turn ambiguity into a plan the team can execute and the client can trust.

    Performance Objectives

    • Own end-to-end delivery of one or more product or platform engagements, meeting agreed scope, quality, and milestone commitments.
    • Run a delivery rhythm—planning, estimation, dependency management, and status—that surfaces risk early and gives executives decisions, not surprises.
    • Align engineering, design, data, and client stakeholders on priorities so capacity goes to outcomes that move the business.
    • Raise predictability in your first two quarters by tightening estimates, cutting rework, and improving release throughput against a baseline you set.
    • Clear blockers across teams and vendors so critical-path work does not stall; escalate only with options and a recommendation.
    • Hold quality and release readiness: definition of done, test evidence, and go-live criteria are met before production.
    • Coach delivery leads and squads so practices hold when you are not in the room.

    Environment & Resources

You partner with engineers, architects, designers, and client product owners on global, often distributed teams. Planning, CI/CD visibility, and collaboration tools already in use on the account are yours to run well. You report to delivery or account leadership and influence specialists you may not line-manage. Commercial authority sits with account leadership; you shape forecasts, change control, and capacity plans that feed those decisions.

    Essential Qualifications

    • A record of leading software or platform delivery from kickoff through release in consulting or product engineering.
    • Command of agile delivery, estimation, risk, and stakeholder reporting that executives will act on.
    • Enough technical fluency to challenge plans with architects and engineers without writing the code.
    • Experience coordinating cross-time-zone teams and client sponsors through change, scope pressure, and competing priorities.
    • Writing and speaking that turn status into decisions in client workshops and executive readouts.

    Role Selling Points

    • International engineering programs for demanding global brands, not a single internal backlog.
    • Peers across engineering, design, data, and consulting who expect high standards.
    • Upskilling, certification support, and a deep learning library you can use on the job.
    • Room to own hard delivery problems in cloud, data, and AI-enabled platform work.
    • A culture that rewards inclusion, craft, and people who make teams better.
