Our client is a fast-growing cloud infrastructure company focused on AI and ML workloads. The Enterprise Networking team owns office networks, enterprise VPN, and related infrastructure across more than 10 global offices.

/ ABOUT THE ROLE /

We are expanding the Senior Enterprise Network team in the Netherlands due to hypergrowth. You will own the enterprise networking scope for the EU region as part of a team of 5, and work closely with a US-based team to standardise architecture and operations globally.

/ RESPONSIBILITIES /

Your responsibilities include leading the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise wired and wireless office networks in the EU, and owning the enterprise VPN infrastructure connecting employees to internal systems, including capacity planning, resiliency, and continuous improvement. You will manage office networking components such as WiFi, printers, CCTV, and access control, and diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including cross-region incidents and root cause analysis. The role also involves working with ISPs and vendors, leading escalations, and managing connectivity-related issues, as well as designing, deploying, and improving automation and monitoring using Python and Ansible-style tooling, and operating and administering Linux-based systems supporting network services.

/ REQUIREMENTS /

Strong enterprise routing and switching knowledge, including TCP/IP fundamentals, and experience in product-driven tech organisations (500+ employees, no traditional enterprise) are essential. The role requires a proven ability to work independently and own outcomes end-to-end, along with Linux administration experience, including running services. Automation experience using Python and configuration management tools is required, as is familiarity with dynamic routing protocols.

Nice to have: hands-on experience with enterprise WiFi and VPN in large environments, and working knowledge of IPv6.
