My client is an ambitious high frequency trading firm that’s growing quickly. They’re nowwith 50 employees and aiming to evolve into a true scale-up. To get there, they need tobring more structure and maturity into their tech environment.

In an IT team of 20 there is no real data team yet. You will be the first that will set thestandards, create workflows and design and implement processes for the data team. On theroad from start-up with no real fundament to a scalable HFT that can grow, data will be key.Reliable, real-time, high-frequency data foundations are becoming essential. That’s whythey’re now looking for a Lead Data Architecture & Engineering Expert someone who hasdone this before, understands what “good” looks like, and can help shape a clear vision andbuild the right structure.

If you enjoy bringing order to complex environments, building scalable data setups, andguiding teams through change, this is a role worth exploring.

We are looking for someone with experience in:
- Leadership: you have experience setting up and growing teams
- Data architecture: high-level data architecture and long-term vision
- Hands-on experience with some of the following technologies:o PostgreSQL, RedPanda/Kafka, KX/kdb+, Scylla, KeyDBo Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud/hybrid deployments
- Experience with high-volume or low-latency environments (fintech, payments,trading, etc)
