Do you enjoy automation and self-service development, treating cloud infrastructure as a

platform, and acting as an internal DevEx ambassador who advises teams and builds fully

automated CI/CD?

Our client is a leading supply chain company focused on the eCommerce domain. They are

steadily building out a mission-critical self-service platform in Azure. This platform runs all the

critical applications developed in-house by 35 development teams. As part of a mature IT

organization, you’ll work across software engineering teams, platform engineering teams and the

SRE team.

Your role

As a Platform Engineer in the CI/CD team, you will focus on the CI side: building development

tooling, automations and self-service functionality. This lets the 35 DevOps teams develop, test

and integrate code into the existing codebase quickly. You will build their core infrastructure, set

up automations around it, build golden paths and improve the developer experience.

The core of the work is developing repos and pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.

The goal is to move as much as possible to GitOps (GitHub Actions and ArgoCD). Most tooling

is built in Python or Golang and deployed with Terraform. In this role you’ll also gain exposure

to Kubernetes and work in a large-scale hybrid cloud environment.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in software (DevOps), infrastructure or platform engineering

• 3+ years of experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins or Azure DevOps

• 2+ years of experience with IaC, cloud and Docker

• A software engineering background is a plus

• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus

Benefits:

• Salary: €78.000 – €100.000, including holiday allowance
