System Verification Engineer

    / ABOUT THE COMPANY /

Our client is at the forefront of next-generation healthcare technology, developing autonomous medical devices that are redefining how clinical procedures are performed. Their flagship product integrates multi-modal imaging, robotics, and AI to carry out a common diagnostic procedure entirely without manual intervention, addressing real-world pressures on clinical staffing while meaningfully improving the patient experience.

    / ABOUT THE ROLE /

This is a newly created position and a genuine opportunity to build something from the ground up. As a Test Engineer, you will sit at the centre of a cross-functional engineering team and take ownership of the system verification function for a multiple DOF robotic medical device. Writing and executing test cases, building verification evidence, and contributing directly to the release process. The role sits within a cross-functional engineering team and has a roadmap toward increasing test automation, with Python used to support the tooling that underpins it.

/ WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING /

You will write, review, and execute verification test cases and protocols for a 6-DOF robotic positioning system, and build and maintain traceability between requirements and verification evidence. The role involves executing manual test campaigns and contributing to the gradual shift toward automated testing, as well as using Python to support and improve the release process tooling. You will document results, log deviations, and contribute to release readiness decisions, while working closely with systems, software, and mechanical engineers to understand design intent and translate it into testable criteria.
